About this game

Available exclusively for Netflix members.

You're Lara Croft. Discover ancient relics, dodge hidden traps and wield her iconic twin pistols against fierce enemies in this globe-trotting adventure.

Travel through the golden, arch-shaped doors of the treacherous underground tombs, scattered across hazardous mountain caves, flourishing jungles and lush waterfalls.

Solve a wide variety of puzzles and face off against different enemies and bosses — both new and familiar to the Tomb Raider series — including bloodthirsty wolves, poisonous snakes, fearsome golems and magical elemental creatures!

Features:

• Roguelike gameplay and procedurally generated stages for a new and varied experience with every run.
• Stack abilities and perks as you level up, including piercing shots, experience boosts, grenade throws and arch shots for more powerful attacks, quicker character leveling and a wider range of damage.
• Dropping to a knee after an epic run doesn’t signal the end! You’ll be awarded a trove of coins and experience points to upgrade Lara’s outfits and weapons, increasing your base attack and HP stats.
• Play trademark Lara Croft actions — shoot, run, jump and handstand in classic Croft fashion.
• Stumble upon collectables and unlockables, including relics that provide increased damage and healing stats, and blueprints that let you craft powerful new weapons like shotguns and mystical staffs.
• Stylized cartoon visuals that reimagine the Tomb Raider world.
• An original orchestral soundtrack with reworked classic scores that pay homage to Tomb Raider’s iconic legacy.

I've been playing Tomb Raider since the 90's and I'm always looking for new versions. Came across this one free in Netflix. Downloaded both versions and there is no comparison. The Netflix is tons better. No ads and over the months they've worked out the sluggish bugs. Plus I had to get a new phone. I've finished all the goals and now waiting on the next three levels to be completed by developers. I still spend far too much time farming levels but I figure I'll need it to go further.

A frustrating Archero clone. The difficulty spike after the first few zones is out of control. The levels, enemy attacks, and placement are designed in such a way that you often can't stop moving long enough to attack without getting killed yourself. Drop rates for loot is miserably low, making gear upgrades a real grind. 90% of the character upgrades/abilities are functionally useless.

CLEAR YOUR USER DATA PERIODICALLY!! It begins to run super sluggishly. It just seems like it's getting worse as time goes on. More crashes, more bugs.. it's getting increasingly frustrating to play. When it does work, I am enjoying it, especially the Netflix version because there are no ads and no cash shop whatsoever, which is really great. It's really grindy but I could see that coming from a mile away. There's nearly always something to do to progress in strength.
