An evil king that threatened the world in the past becomes free from his seal after 120 years. The descendants of the heroes who saved the world have to stand up to fight this new evil.

I'm between 3 and 4 stars. In my experience, Kemco games are too similar and repetitive. This is somewhat better and at least uses different retro graphic styles. You can build up levels quickly with the metal and three round poles you click by with the transporter circles. You can change to hard not long after. I generally like 2D rpg games. This was decent, but could be better.

It's totally awesome... somewhere between the first ever final fantasy and the first ever dragon quest rpgs....the storyline is actually better than the gameplay and the gameplay is fun and easy enough to understand once your party gets past a few dozen battles and farther into the games' overall storyline...the graphics are rewarding with intense turn-based battles back&forth with the games' AI used to challenge the gamer as you go deeper into the game...thanks to everyone responsible for this!

Played through on normal while minimizing encounter rate whenever possible, the characters' main skills were pretty good as long as you didn't cross lines between magical/physical gender tropes, which made the class system a little sad. Bummed around on NE metal slime island after the ending but after learning that a class's third star is only for its persistent passive and stat inflation of existing active skills, the meh set in. Trickster was a better choice than harvester: extra healer turns.
